The organised labour has suspended the nationwide indefinite strike which began on Tuesday, November 14.

The strike was called off hours after the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and the Minister of Labour and Employment, Simon Lalong, met leaders of the organised labour over the nationwide strike. 

Ribadu had also said that those who caused the strike by attacking Nigeria Labour Congress chairman, Joe Ajaero, have been arrested.

Singer Portable's Wife Petitions Police Over Claims Of Threat To Life By DJ Chicken Omobewaji Ewatomi, wife of singer Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable, has petitioned the Nigerian police over claims of threat to life and character assassination, amongst other claims, by  Disc Jockey Ademola Abiodun, aka DJ Chicken. In an Instagram post on Friday, Ewatomi, in her petition, claimed DJ Chicken tried to blackmail her with claims of having her sex tape. Ewatomi disclosed that she called his bluff; however, this did not dissuade DJ Chicken, who continued to harass and even threaten to end her life and that of her family.
