Nigerian man allegedly k!lls his newborn baby in Libya, buries body in shallow grave

A Nigerian man has been arrested in Libya for the alleged murd£r of his newborn baby.

Migrant Rescue Watch disclosed this in a post on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

According to the post, the suspect allegedly k!lled the baby with chlorine and buri£d the body in a shallow grave on the farm where he works. 

“Western Region Support Forces arrested a Nigerian #migrant worker for intentionally killing his own newborn baby. The accused used chlorine to feed and kill the baby and than secretly buried the body on the farm where he was employed. The individual remains in custody pending referral to Public Prosecution,” the post reads.

N48.8bn fraud: Strike stalls Ibeto’s arraignment The nationwide strike embarked upon by labour union, on Wednesday, stalled the scheduled arraignment of the Chairman of Ibeto Energy Development Company, Cletus Ibeto, before the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja. The trial judge, Justice Ismail Ijelu, had on November 3, fixed November 15, 2023, for the defendant’s arraignment after ordering his arrest. The bench warrant issued by the court followed a motion moved by the counsel for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Rotimi Jacobs (SAN), who informed him that the defendant had failed to appear in court despite hearing notices repeatedly served on him.
