Hope Uzodinma declared winner of Imo governorship election

Governor Hope Uzodinma has been re-elected as the governor of Imo state.

 According to the results announced by Professor Abayomi Fasina, the Returning officer the election this morning November 12, Uzodinma of the APC polled a total of 540, 308 votes. His closest rival, PDP's  Emeka Anyanwu polled a total of 71, 503 votes while Labour party's Athan Achonu polled a total of 64, 081 votes.
